In addition there are also Kanye West, who had seven nominations in his high-concept clips "All of the Lights" and "Power". Nominations for himself such as, Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Male Video and two shots at Best Collaboration for his Rihanna and his cameo in Perry's "ET" Kid Cudi and hook-up for "Lights".
Bruno Mars got four nominations, including Video Of The Year, Best Pop Video and Best Female Video for "Grenade". Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Nicki Minaj followed behind with each of three VMA nominations. They were nominated in the Best Female Video and Best Hip-Hop Video, "Run the World" for Beyonce, "Born this Way" for Gaga, and "Super Bass" for Nicki Minaj. Gaga has another nomination as Best Art Direction and Best Choreography for the controversial "Judas," while B's "Girls" also got noticed in the Best Choreography and Best Cinematography.
